In 2015 Americans spent an estimated $41 billion on sleep aids and remedies. This year, this number is expected to grow to $52 billion! That’s with a B – B-illion! And this figure does not take into account time missed from work, health conditions created due to lack of sleep, relationships affected, fatigue and weight gain that all happen from lack of sleep.
The scariest piece of this number is that lack of sleep compromises your immune system and makes you susceptible to a plethora of health conditions – getting sick easily with colds and flu; contracting a virus, developing an autoimmune condition, and so much more.
